Dr. Shilpa Kapadia is a Post Graduate in Human Development and Family Studies, and Ph.D in Psychology. She has been counseling students to enable them to make appropriate choices based on interest and career goal. Dr. Kapadia has praticipated and organized various seminars and workshops and presented papers at national and international level.

Dr. Kapadia has introduced many new courses for undergraduate and post graduate level at the Centre catering to the needs of the students.

She has been teaching undergraduates and post graduate students subjects like Child Development, Day Care Centre, Craft Activities, Non Government Organization, Event Management etc.

Dr. kapadia has undertaken research projects in the areas of Life Skills, Youth and Family Life Education, Literacy, Human Rights, Adolescents, Women and Young Children at rural - urban areas and slum communites.

She has conducted training programs for out of school youth, capacity building for women, Preraks and Nodal Preraks in Baroda District, and for tribal trainees from Chota Udepur and neighoring villages.
